This Is My Future: 2015
Whether you have done a little or a lot of planning for what you will do after high school, it is always a good idea to think about your choices.
During this investigation you will use the internet to learn about the things you might decide to do during the years right after graduation from high school.
Do you plan to get a job? If so, what kind of job? What qualifications will you need? What will you do after that?
Do you plan to attend college or other type of educational institution such as a technical school? If so, what kind of instruction will you receive? How long will it take to complete? What will you do after that?
Do you plan some other type of activity such as a military career or starting your own business? Something else?
After you investigate the options for what to do after high school, you will prepare a report that explains you findings and the choices you now intend to make. Your report will explain what you believe you will be doing in 2015 and the steps you will need to take to get there.
Even if your plans change between now and 2015, you will have done some research about your plans and dreams for the future. You will be making decisions based on the learning you did in this investigation. New opportunities you never thought about may become available, and you will be able to evaluate every choice based on what you learned in this investigation.
Look at each section in the Student Guide to get an idea of what you will be doing. You will see links to help in your research. I hope you will find other information by using your browser and your own search terms that will help you learn more about your interests and preferences. Then begin by completing each of the five steps in your investigation.
Enjoy your trip into the future and the you of 2015!
